  • Lemon juice ー 2/3 oz (20ml)
  • Lime juice ー 2/3 oz (20ml)

  • Grenadine syrup ー 1/2 oz (15ml)

Instructions

Step
Combine the ingredients

Add the lemon juice, lime juice, and ice to a shaker, in that order.

Step
Shake

Shake well, then strain into a glass filled with ice.

Step
Stir in the soda

Gently top with soda, being careful not to create foam, then give it a light, slow stir. When mixing in carbonated ingredients, stir slowly with just one or two rotations, lifting and lowering the ice to combine everything evenly.

Step
Float the grenadine

Using the back of a bar spoon, let the grenadine syrup sink slowly to the bottom of the glass. Gently insert a stirrer, garnish with a lemon slice, and it’s ready to serve.

Characteristics & Flavor

Aster Lemonade is a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail built around a satisfying balance of tartness and sweetness. That balance comes from the sharp citrus bite of lemon and lime juice meeting the gentle sweetness of grenadine, coming together in perfect harmony.

The moment it hits your palate, the bright citrus flavors of lemon and lime unfold, while the fizz of soda lifts the whole drink alongside grenadine’s ruby-red color. The beautiful gradient that forms in the glass is part of the appeal, too.

Since it’s completely alcohol-free, this makes a great daytime refresher or a welcome drink to kick off a party. It’s especially worth reaching for on a hot day, or whenever you’re after something crisp and not too sweet.

Tart, clean, and refreshing, with a striking red gradient to match, Aster Lemonade is a true ade-style cocktail through and through.

Points, Twists & Food Pairings

  • Best Pairings・・・Try it with light finger foods like fruit tarts, shrimp cocktail, or a fresh caprese salad — the citrus cuts through rich or creamy bites.
  • Mixing Tip・・・Shake the lemon and lime juice hard with ice to fully chill and slightly dilute it before adding soda; this keeps the fizz lively longer.
  • Easy Twist・・・Muddle a few mint leaves before shaking, or swap grenadine for raspberry syrup for a slightly different fruity twist.
  • Drinking Note・・・Since it’s alcohol-free, it’s a safe pour for designated drivers or guests avoiding alcohol — but watch the sugar if serving to kids.
